Blossom Labs Ltd built the Lyrical app as a Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by Blossom Labs Ltd at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service. If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at https://www.blossomlabs.io/lyrical/terms-of-service unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
To use Lyrical you create an account with your email address and a password. Accounts are managed by Firebase Authentication, a Google service; we never see your password. You can also add your first and last name to your profile, and we record whether your account has Lyrical Premium.
Your Songs and Recordings
The songs you write in Lyrical, including their titles, lyrics, tags and the dates they were created and last edited, are stored in Cloud Firestore, and the audio you record is stored in Cloud Storage for Firebase, so that your work is backed up and available when you sign in. Both are Google services. This content is private to your account: it can only be read by you when signed in, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising. Recordings may also be kept on your device so they play quickly.
Lyrical asks for access to your microphone so that you can record melodies and ideas. The microphone is only used while you are recording.
Rhymes and Word Suggestions
When you look up rhymes or related words, the word you look up is sent to the Datamuse API (https://www.datamuse.com/api/), a third-party service, to find suggestions. Nothing that identifies you or your account is sent with it.
Feedback
If you send us feedback from within the app, the text you write is stored so that we can read it. It is stored without your name, email address or account details, so please do not include personal information you do not want us to have.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used so that we can improve it. This includes events such as when the Lyrical Premium screen is shown and what happens next, and when a subscription ends. Firebase also collects some information automatically, including an app instance identifier, your device model, operating system version, app version, approximate location (country or region, derived from your IP address) and the length and number of your sessions. Analytics does not include your songs, lyrics or recordings.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Purchases of Lyrical Premium are processed by Apple or Google, and we never receive your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage purchases and check whether your account has Premium. RevenueCat receives your account's anonymous user ID, your purchase history and basic device information, and processes them under its privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies
This Service does not use cookies. The third-party services described in this policy may use similar identifiers on your device to provide their services.
Keeping and Deleting Your Data
We keep your account, songs and recordings for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile section of the app. This permanently deletes your account, your songs and your recordings from our servers, and removes the copies kept on your device. You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing lyrical@blossomlabs.io. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, which you manage in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Service Providers
We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:
- To facilitate our Service;
- To provide the Service on our behalf;
- To perform Service-related services; or
- To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to their Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. We encourage all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their childrens Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to us through the Application and/or Services, please contact us. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).
